The Society for Pediatric Pathology’s Resident Recruitment Award encourages residents to consider careers in pediatric pathology by involving them in the Society’s Fall Meeting and publications. It recognizes case reports highlighting unique or special aspects of pediatric or perinatal pathology, with attention to the report’s overall composition and content.
Recipients receive support to attend the Fall Meeting, where they present their award-winning reports in the poster session. They also participate in a “Legends in Pediatric Pathology” lunch with established pediatric pathologists. Winners are encouraged to submit their reports for consideration to Pediatric and Developmental Pathology, the official journal of the Society and the Paediatric Pathology Society.
