Key Information: Applicants must be CTPVSS members and first and presenting authors of an SOT-accepted abstract.
The CTPVSS/STP Student Award encourages students interested in research and careers in toxicologic pathology. Offered through the Society of Toxicology (SOT), it combines support from the Comparative Toxicology, Pathology, and Veterinary Specialty Section (CTPVSS) and the Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP). The award recognizes research in toxicology, pathology, or a related field that advances understanding of whole-animal or tissue toxicologic responses.
Qualifying work integrates morphologic or clinical pathology endpoints with other scientific approaches, such as biomarkers, molecular or systems biology, imaging, or in vitro–in vivo correlations. The award emphasizes scientific merit and commitment to toxicologic pathology, while supporting participation in the STP Annual Meeting and opportunities to present research to the CTPVSS and STP communities.
