    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Computational Toxicology Specialty Section (CTSS) offers this award to support professional development for trainees and young investigators from under-represented groups in biomedical sciences. Supported by the Yves Alarie Scholarship Fund, it recognizes scientific excellence and helps recipients secure resources for research and participation in the scientific community. Supported activities include research, travel and registration for scientific meetings, and leadership or scientific training.

The award honors Dr. Yves Alarie’s contributions to inhalation and computational toxicology and his commitment to students from diverse backgrounds. His students, friends, colleagues, and family established the SOT Yves Alarie Endowment Fund in July 2019. Selection emphasizes original, strong research relevant to computational toxicology, familiarity with Alarie’s work, and demonstrated financial need.
