The Society of Toxicology’s Clinical and Translational Toxicology Specialty Section (CTTSS) recognizes an individual whose career has made substantial scientific and/or service contributions to clinical and translational toxicology. This is a career achievement honor rather than support for a proposed research project. It focuses on sustained contributions that have had a major impact on the field.
Contributions considered include work in translational toxicology, service to the Society of Toxicology, and mentoring in translational toxicology. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by a colleague. The CTTSS Awards Committee and CTTSS Executive Council review nominations and select the recipient, who is recognized with an award certificate.
