    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Cardiovascular Toxicology Specialty Section (CVTSS) offers Trainee Awards recognizing outstanding graduate student and postdoctoral contributions to the 2026 SOT Annual Meeting. The awards focus on cardiovascular toxicology research submitted for first-author poster or platform presentations. They recognize trainee contributions to the meeting rather than fund a separately defined research project.

Scientific merit and demonstrated need are central to eligibility. The program recognizes both graduate-level and postdoctoral work, with awards conferred to at least one trainee in each group. Recipients receive a cash award and an achievement plaque and are acknowledged at the 2026 CVTSS Reception.
