Description
The Society of Toxicology (SOT), through its Drug Discovery Toxicology Specialty Section (DDTSS), offers this competition to recognize postdoctoral research relevant to drug discovery toxicology. The award focuses on research communicated through an abstract accepted for presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting, rather than funding a new research project.
Applicants submit their Annual Meeting abstract with a cover letter providing additional context and explaining the importance of the work to drug discovery toxicology. The competition awards first-, second-, and third-place prizes, presented at the Annual Meeting. It is supported by the Emil Pfitzer Drug Discovery Toxicology Endowment Fund.
