The Society of Toxicology’s Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section (DTSS) offers this trainee travel award with sponsorship from the Research Institutes of Fragrance Materials (RIFM). The award supports attendance at the 2026 SOT Annual Meeting and recognizes excellence in research by students and postdoctoral trainees.
Selection emphasizes scientific merit and an outstanding demonstration of how the applicant’s work uses New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), advances exposure science, improves understanding of material composition, or contributes to dermal and skin risk assessment. The award also provides an opportunity for the recipient to share their research with DTSS members through a short presentation, with recognition at the section’s Annual Reception.
