    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Exposure Specialty Section (ESS) offers the Best Overall Abstract recognition for research demonstrating an application of exposure science to toxicology. The award centers on poster abstracts accepted for the SOT Annual Meeting, including work presented in exposure-focused sessions and other sessions. It recognizes research communicated through an abstract rather than providing support to carry out a new project.

The recognition emphasizes exposure assessment or methodology, scientific quality and significance, the impact or novelty of findings, and the quality of the abstract’s writing. The winning abstract is recognized by the Specialty Section at the Annual Meeting. Exposure Specialty Section membership is not required.
