The ESS Student and Postdoctoral Travel Awards support travel to the Society of Toxicology’s 2027 Annual Meeting for students and postdoctoral researchers presenting their research as part of the meeting program. The American Chemistry Council sponsors the awards through SOT’s Exposure Specialty Section (ESS), with one award reserved for a student and one for a postdoctoral researcher.
The program focuses on research applying exposure science to toxicology, including exposure assessment and exposure methodology. Selection considers the scientific quality and significance of the research, the impact or novelty of its findings, the written quality of the abstract, and the applicant’s stated travel funding need. The awards support meeting participation and communication of work that advances exposure science within SOT.
