The Society of Toxicology’s ITSS Best Presentation by a Student Award recognizes graduate student trainees whose research in immunotoxicology deserves recognition. Presented by ITSS, the award highlights the scientific rationale, significance, and relevance of the research, alongside the student’s specific contribution to carrying out the project.
Selection emphasizes the quality and clarity of the extended abstract and the scientific significance of the work. Applicants document both their research and their role through an original meeting abstract, an extended abstract, and mentor support. Recipients present their work during the ITSS reception at the SOT Annual Meeting, and final award decisions are made by the ITSS Awards Committee.
