Offered through the Mechanisms and Drug Discovery Toxicology specialty sections, it honors early-career professionals with exemplary mechanistic toxicology research and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and/or mentoring.
The research record recognized by the award may be demonstrated through publications, grant applications, and/or regulatory filings. Teaching and mentoring contributions may include engagement with SOT, institutional activities, and/or community outreach. The award is listed among SOT Endowment Awards and includes a financial honorarium and recognition at a specialty section’s annual business meeting and reception.
