Description
The Society of Toxicology’s Medical Device and Combination Products Specialty Section (MDCPSS) recognizes the most outstanding abstract demonstrating scientific excellence and relevance to toxicology in medical devices and combination products. The award focuses on work accepted for presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting, with recognition centered on the scientific quality and relevance of the abstract.
The program recognizes the three highest-ranked abstracts through ribbons for display during the MDCPSS poster session. The lead author of the highest-scoring abstract also receives a plaque at the MDCPSS reception during the SOT Annual Meeting. This is recognition for presented scientific work rather than support for a separate research project.
