The Society of Toxicology’s Medical Device and Combination Products Specialty Section (MDCPSS) recognizes the research accomplishments of young scientists through its Early Career Achievement Award. The award honors demonstrated excellence in toxicological research related to medical devices and/or combination products, focusing on the nominee’s own scientific work and contributions.
This is an achievement award with support for travel to the SOT Annual Meeting, rather than funding for a new research project. It is open to students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career scientists, with separate recipient categories for students and postdoctoral or early-career researchers. Recipients receive a plaque and recognition at the MDCPSS Reception, where they are invited to give a five-minute overview of their work.
