    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Mixtures Specialty Section (MixSS) offers the Best Student/Postdoc Abstract Awards to recognize outstanding research related to the toxicology of mixtures. The program honors two student and/or postdoctoral abstracts that advance the field of mixtures research, with each winner receiving an achievement plaque and a cash award.

The awards focus on the scientific contribution described in an accepted abstract. Applicants support that abstract with a research description covering the study’s premise, approach, results, and future work, along with confirmation of their trainee status. Consideration is separate from other MixSS awards, including the Jane Ellen Simmons award.
