Description
The Society of Toxicology’s Midwest Regional Chapter (MRC/SOT) offers this travel award to help undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers defray the costs of attending the 2027 SOT Annual Meeting. The award supports meeting attendance rather than the costs of conducting a research project, connecting travel assistance with research submitted to the Annual Meeting.
Applications center on an applicant’s submitted or accepted Annual Meeting abstract and a supporting letter from their research advisor or sponsor. Abstract acceptance by SOT must be confirmed before an award can be received. MRC/SOT determines the number of awards according to available funds, with support potentially taking the form of an honorarium, reimbursement for travel expenses, or both.
