The Society of Toxicology’s Molecular and Systems Biology Specialty Section (MSBSS) presents this award to recognize research conducted in mentored graduate research positions. Supported by the Molecular and Systems Biology Student Award Fund of the SOT Endowment, the program emphasizes research relevant to molecular and systems toxicology.
Three ranked research awards recognize the novelty and relevance of the work, its scientific quality, and the logic and flow of its presentation. Applicants must explain their own contributions to the research, from developing the idea and designing experiments to executing and analyzing the work. An optional, need-based travel award helps one student or postdoctoral researcher attend the SOT Annual Meeting.
