The Society of Toxicology’s Molecular and Systems Biology Specialty Section (MSBSS) recognizes postdoctoral research relevant to molecular and systems biology and toxicology. Supported by the Molecular and Systems Biology Student Award Fund of the SOT Endowment, the program evaluates work submitted as abstracts for the upcoming SOT Annual Meeting. It emphasizes relevance and novelty, clear scientific logic, and the quality of the hypothesis, methods, results, and discussion.
Three ranked research awards are presented at the MSBSS reception during the Annual Meeting. The first-place recipient is also invited to give an MSBSS-sponsored presentation later in the year. An optional travel award supports attendance by an applicant demonstrating significant financial need.
