    Description

The MSBSS Undergraduate Research Award recognizes student research relevant to molecular and systems biology and toxicology. Administered by the Society of Toxicology’s Molecular and Systems Biology Specialty Section (MSBSS), it is supported by the Molecular and Systems Biology Student Award Fund of the SOT Endowment. The award emphasizes research novelty and relevance, the quality of the scientific work, and the applicant’s direct contributions.

At least one recipient receives monetary recognition and an engraved plaque or certificate at the MSBSS reception during the SOT Annual Meeting. The research awardee is also invited to present their work through an MSBSS-sponsored presentation later in the year. An optional travel award helps a student or postdoctoral researcher with significant financial need offset Annual Meeting attendance costs.
