Funding Amounts: $500 for one winning oral presentation
Summary: Recognizes the best student oral presentation at the Northeast Regional Chapter Fall Meeting.
Key Information: Applicants must be NESOT members with a primary institutional affiliation in one of the chapter’s seven eligible states.
The Society of Toxicology’s Northeast Regional Chapter (NESOT) offers this award to recognize the best student oral presentation at its Fall Meeting. Up to four graduate students, undergraduate students, and post-baccalaureate trainees are selected to deliver 15-minute presentations. One presenter receives the $500 award for the best oral presentation.
The award is a meeting-based presentation competition rather than funding for a separate research project. It gives selected students a place on the Fall Meeting program and recognizes one participant’s presentation. NESOT’s broader mission is to advance science to enhance human, animal, and environmental health, and its meetings provide forums for regional toxicologists to share knowledge and network.
