Key Information: Applicants must meet SOT graduate student criteria, satisfy SOT and NTSS membership requirements, and present in person in San Antonio.
The Society of Toxicology (SOT) offers this best-poster competition to recognize graduate student research at its 2027 Annual Meeting in San Antonio. Supported by the Toshio Narahashi Neurotoxicology Fellowship Award Fund of the SOT Endowment, the award provides monetary prizes and recognition certificates for first-, second-, and third-place winners rather than funding a proposed research project.
The competition combines review of a scientific abstract and an advisor’s support letter with an oral presentation of the poster. The special NTSS poster session gives students an opportunity to share their research and network with neurotoxicologists. Application materials describe the research, its impact and conclusions, and the student’s independence and specific role in the work.
