Key Information: Membership in OPHSS or SOT is required, and self-recommendations are not accepted.
The Society of Toxicology’s Occupational and Public Health Specialty Section (OPHSS) recognizes an outstanding graduate student actively pursuing a toxicology and/or public health-related degree. The award honors research accomplishments alongside sustained, high-level engagement in presenting and discussing research with colleagues, both internally and externally. Research related to occupational toxicology is preferred.
This is recognition of student accomplishments and ongoing engagement rather than support for a proposed research project. The recipient receives an honorarium and an engraved plaque, presented by the President of OPHSS/SOT at the OPHSS event during the SOT Annual Meeting.
