The Society of Toxicology’s PANWAT Dr. William M. Baird Travel Award encourages students, postdoctoral researchers, and young investigators from the Pacific Northwest to attend toxicology-oriented scientific meetings and present their work. Supported through the Pacific Northwest Toxicology Development Fund, the award includes meetings such as the SOT Annual Meeting.
The award supports meeting participation rather than the research itself. Funds can cover travel-related expenses, including meeting registration, airfare, hotel accommodation, and meals. Applicants must have submitted an abstract for a platform or poster presentation at the relevant meeting, and abstract acceptance must be confirmed before the award is received.
