The RASS John Doull Risk Assessment Endowment Award recognizes outstanding risk assessment research by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows within the Society of Toxicology (SOT). Offered through the Risk Assessment Specialty Section (RASS), the award is made possible by the John Doull Student Award Fund of the SOT Endowment.
The award emphasizes both the scientific merit of a research project and its relevance to risk assessment. Selection considers the scientific quality of the research abstract, the quality and significance of the overall project, the significance of its findings, and demonstrated excellence in risk assessment. Applicants present their work through an abstract submitted to SOT and a project synopsis explaining its connection to risk assessment.
