    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Regulatory and Safety Evaluation Specialty Section (RSESS) recognizes talented researchers whose recently published papers make exceptional contributions to regulatory and safety evaluation in toxicology. The award honors the author or authors of the best paper published in the calendar year preceding the Annual Meeting at which the award is recognized.

Rather than funding a proposed research project, this award recognizes completed, published work. The paper’s contribution to the science of regulatory and safety evaluation is central to the nomination, which includes a summary explaining that contribution and a copy of the article. Recipients receive a cash award.
