    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s Sustainable Chemicals through Contemporary Toxicology (SCCT) Specialty Section recognizes an early career scientist for scientific merit and outstanding leadership and service to the toxicology and sustainable chemistry community. This is a recognition award for achievements and community contributions, rather than funding for a proposed research project.

The award considers scientific accomplishments alongside a commitment to mentorship and service. Relevant contributions include leadership in local or global scientific organizations, service to or participation in scientific organizations and events, and formal or informal mentoring of junior scientists. Demonstrated innovation in sustainable chemistry is valued but is not required. Both peer nominations and self-nominations are welcomed.
