    Description

The Society of Toxicology’s TAO Distinguished Scientific Presentation Award recognizes an outstanding investigator whose work substantially advances understanding of toxicology. It celebrates toxicologists who demonstrate an ability to engage the scientific community through outstanding scientific achievement that embodies TAO’s mission. The recipient receives formal recognition from TAO.

Scientific communication is central to the award. The recipient must deliver a scientific webinar presentation to the TAO membership on a date designated by the TAO Board. This presentation may take place during the TAO Annual Business Meeting or as a separate TAO-sponsored webinar, connecting recognition of the investigator’s research with an opportunity to share that work with TAO members.
