The Society of Toxicology’s Toxicological Sciences Paper of the Year Award honors the authors of a selected article in the Society’s official journal. It recognizes published scientific work rather than funding a proposed research project. The central consideration is the paper’s significant contribution to the science of toxicology, as determined by the SOT Board of Publications.
The Board surveys all eligible journal articles for consideration alongside titles nominated by Society members. The award acknowledges all authors of the selected paper and is presented at the SOT Annual Meeting. Authors may be SOT members or nonmembers, while member-submitted nominations are limited to one title per nominator.
