Key Information: Applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA and must not have received this award previously.
The Society of Toxicology (SOT) Undergraduate Research Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate contributions to original toxicology-related research and supports presentation of that work at the SOT Annual Meeting. Its goal is to encourage graduate study in toxicology or a closely related field. Selection emphasizes the student’s individual contribution, research skills, understanding of the project’s overall goals, and potential to become an independent researcher and leader.
This is meeting-attendance support rather than funding to conduct a research project. Recipients receive registration, lodging, and travel assistance. At the meeting, they are matched with mentors, recognized during special events, attend the SOT Undergraduate Education Program, and participate in other meeting activities.
