Description
This program, managed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, provides cost-share funding to Missouri landowners for the adoption of soil and water conservation practices. The goal is to reduce soil erosion, improve water quality, promote efficient water use, enhance nutrient and pest management, recycle animal waste, and protect sensitive areas and woodlands. The initiative is funded through a portion of the Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax and is implemented locally through Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs).
