Description
The SolarAPP+ Implementation Grant Program, administered by the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA), provides funding for Maryland counties, cities, towns, and other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to implement the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory's SolarAPP+ automated residential solar permitting software. The program aims to modernize and streamline the permitting process for residential solar installations, reduce administrative burdens, and accelerate solar adoption statewide. Eligible expenses include contractual support, staff training, software integration, and other implementation-related costs.
