Description
The Lodge Vitality Grant, administered by the Sons of Norway Foundation, gives lodges a boost to their operating budgets for needs and initiatives unlikely to receive support from other sources. Supported work can include replacing aged or failing equipment essential to lodge meetings and programs, introducing initiatives to increase membership, and creating programs that engage younger generations.
The program connects practical support for lodge operations with the Foundation’s mission to celebrate Nordic culture and heritage through scholarships and grants to members and communities. A Foundation-appointed review committee considers how each proposed project will promote Norwegian culture and reflect one or more of the Foundation’s core values, including lifelong learning, service, compassion, connections to contemporary Norway, and generosity.
