Description
The Association of Scientists of Indian Origin (ASIO), within the Society of Toxicology (SOT), presents this award to postdoctoral fellows of Indian origin for their research presentations at the SOT Annual Meeting. It recognizes the applicant’s lead role and significant contribution to the research, demonstrated through first authorship or equal-contribution first co-authorship of the meeting abstract.
The award is supported by the Dr. Dharm Singh ASIO-SIG Postdoctoral Fellow endowment fund established with SOT. Multiple recipients are recognized each year, with the ASIO awards committee determining the number of awards and selecting the winners. Each recipient receives a monetary award and a certificate.
