These grants fund both new and existing initiatives that foster resilience and well-being through community-building, positive social interaction, creative expression, physical activity, self-care, and mutual support. Special emphasis is placed on projects serving low-income, underserved, and historically marginalized adults and children. The program encourages diversity in programming and seeks organizations that incorporate a range of cultures, philosophies, and experiences.
Funded projects must serve at least 10 participants and can include a wide range of activities such as counseling, respite services, educational or outdoor programs, parent groups, STEM and environmental programming, summer camps, peer-to-peer groups, and arts or cultural initiatives.
