Description
The Association for Iron and Steel Technology Foundation (AIST) Member Chapter Scholarships are annual awards distributed by 22 local AIST chapters across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. These scholarships are designed to attract and support talented students pursuing careers in engineering, metallurgy, materials science, and related STEM fields relevant to the iron and steel industry. Each chapter administers its own scholarship program, with unique eligibility criteria, award amounts, and application processes. More than 43 scholarships are awarded each year, ranging from one-time awards to multi-year renewable scholarships, supporting both undergraduate and, in some cases, graduate students.
