Description
The Southern California Program of the W. M. Keck Foundation funds projects that promote the healthy development of children and youth, strengthen families, and enrich the lives of people in the region, with a strong focus on under-resourced communities in Los Angeles County. The program supports initiatives in Arts and Culture, Civic and Community Services, Early Childhood Care and Education, Health Care, and Pre-collegiate Education. Priority is given to projects benefiting low-income families and special needs populations, including the developmentally disabled, foster children, and homeless families. Funding is available for capital projects, program expansions, pilot models, and systems change initiatives with the potential for significant impact.
