Description
The W. M. Keck Foundation’s Southern California Program funds projects in arts and culture, civic and community services, early childhood care and education, health care, and pre-collegiate education. It aims to promote the healthy development of children and youth, strengthen families, and enrich lives in Los Angeles County. It prioritizes organizations building resilience in under-resourced communities, especially work serving children and youth from low-income families and people with special needs, including those who are developmentally disabled, in foster care, or experiencing homelessness.
Support may advance construction, renovation, equipment, expansion or replication of promising programs, pilot models, or systems change. The Foundation looks for well-planned projects that address compelling issues, show evidence that their approach works, and could have significant, lasting impact.
