Description
The Spark Connecting Community program, managed by the Vermont Community Foundation, funds grassroots projects throughout Vermont that foster stronger community ties and build social capital. The grant is designed to support emerging, hyperlocal, or community-of-interest projects where a modest investment can catalyze significant community impact. Priority is given to projects that encourage collaboration, deepen relationships, and inspire generosity, stewardship, and vibrant community life. The program especially targets organizations with annual operating budgets under $500,000 and seeks to support initiatives that increase access to opportunity, positive social interaction, and environmental stewardship.
