Description
Spark Good Local Grants support local organizations meeting the unique needs of communities where Walmart operates. Each year, Walmart U.S. stores, Sam’s Clubs, and Distribution Centers award cash grants through an open application process. The program is part of Walmart’s approach to strengthening communities through local giving, building associate pride, and deepening relationships with customers and members.
Requests should address a specific, demonstrated community need where Walmart or Sam’s Club is well positioned to contribute. Hunger relief is a frequent area of support because of Walmart’s role as a grocer. Other highlighted projects include economic opportunity, nature restoration, waste reduction, disaster preparedness and response, and activities that build caring, connected communities. Applications are reviewed locally by facility managers.
