--- ## Description The SPD Mentorship Award is designed to support residents, fellows, and junior faculty pursuing careers in pediatric dermatology. The program aims to foster new mentoring relationships between established pediatric dermatologists and early-career physicians, particularly those at institutions lacking pediatric dermatology resources. By facilitating mentorship experiences, the award promotes career development, increases exposure to pediatric dermatology, and contributes to a more diverse and robust workforce in the field. The program also offers a Medical Student Mentorship Award for eligible medical students. --- ## Due Dates - May 1, 2026: Application submission deadline for the SPD Mentorship Award --- ## Funding Amount - Maximum individual grant amount: **$5,000** (SPD Mentorship Award) - Maximum individual grant amount: **$5,000** (Medical Student Mentorship Award) - Funds may be used for travel, accommodations, and related costs associated with the mentorship experience. - The grant does **not** fund research projects for which other funding is available. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be members of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD).
