Description
The SPE Thermoforming Division Grants are part of the Society of Plastics Engineers Foundation’s educational grants program. They provide matching funds for thermoforming equipment and software used in programs and projects at educational institutions, helping students of all ages explore the science and technology of plastics and polymers.
Support covers forming equipment, auxiliary equipment, trimming equipment, software, and retrofitted controls or ovens for existing machines. The grant therefore supports both equipment acquisition and specified upgrades to machines already in use. Within the Foundation’s broader educational mission, supported projects are intended to benefit students and the general public, the plastics industry, and SPE.
