Description
The Special and Urgent Needs (SUN) grant program provides rapid-response funding to Vermont nonprofits encountering unexpected emergencies or unanticipated opportunities that directly affect their ability to fulfill their mission, particularly in serving basic human needs such as social services, food access, housing, and health. The program is designed to help organizations manage crises (e.g., emergency repairs, equipment failures, or unplanned resource needs) or seize time-sensitive opportunities that could not have been planned for, thereby preserving or enhancing their service to the community.
