Description
The New Jersey Department of Health administers Hemophilia Services through its Special Child Health program. The grant provides partial support to currently funded regional hemophilia treatment centers for patients residing in New Jersey. It also provides partial support for the purchase of health insurance policies and for co-payments and deductibles for individuals with hemophilia.
The program is intended to sustain treatment-center services for New Jersey patients while addressing some of the insurance and out-of-pocket costs faced by people with hemophilia. The department identifies the opportunity as “Hemophilia Services 2027” in its System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE).
