Description
The Special Project and Philanthropy Awards provide one-year grants to support AAPT members in attending physics education conferences, workshops, and international meetings. Funding covers conference fees, travel (including room and board), and registration costs. The program’s goal is to enhance the visibility and impact of AAPT by supporting activities that serve members, recruit new members, and further the mission of improving physics education. Awardees are expected to present at AAPT meetings and submit a final report on their funded activities.
