Description
The Specialized Center of Research Program (SCOR), administered by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (now Blood Cancer United), funds collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to accelerate the translation of innovative research discoveries into clinical strategies for the treatment, diagnosis, or prevention of blood cancers. The program is designed to foster synergy among established investigators from one or more institutions, integrating basic and translational research projects with a clear "bench to bedside" trajectory. Each SCOR team must propose 3–5 scientific projects and an administrative core (plus up to 3 supportive scientific cores), with strong evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration and a focus on impactful, team-based science addressing hematological malignancies.
