Description
The Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP), administered by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, provides funding for projects that improve the competitiveness of specialty crops in Georgia. The program aims to support initiatives in research, education, and marketing that directly benefit the state's specialty crop industry, which includes fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, horticulture, nursery crops, Christmas trees, turf grass/sod, and floriculture.
