Description
The Nevada Department of Agriculture’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) is a competitive annual grant supporting projects that advance the competitiveness of specialty crops in Nevada. Funded by the USDA, the program targets initiatives that enhance production, marketing, education, research, food safety, sustainability, and distribution of specialty crops such as fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture, and nursery crops. Projects must benefit multiple stakeholders and cannot be used for the exclusive benefit of a single individual or business.
