Description
The Spectrum Institute for Teaching and Learning (SITL) supports videotaped teaching episodes and lessons demonstrating Spectrum of Teaching Styles A–K. The program aims to promote and enhance implementation of the Spectrum in instructional settings worldwide. It is intended for individuals knowledgeable in the framework, including teachers, coaches, university faculty, and pre-service teachers.
Funding covers landmark teaching style episodes, episodes combining two or more styles, design variations within a landmark style, and lessons containing a planned series of Spectrum episodes. These recordings demonstrate how teaching styles can meet learning objectives, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Accepted recordings may be shared on the Spectrum website and YouTube page or used in the SITL Educational Curriculum.
