Spencer Educational Foundation’s Course Development Grants support the creation and expansion of risk management and insurance (RMI) education at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Funding covers first-time introductory instruction, additional courses, and the development of broader RMI programs, with an emphasis on new and emerging industry areas. The program aims to expose more students to RMI and grow an inclusive, diverse talent pipeline.
Funded materials are shared with Spencer, external partners, and other institutions developing RMI instruction, extending their use beyond the originating campus. A partnership with the New Jersey RIMS Chapter provides additional opportunities for New Jersey institutions to introduce or expand RMI education and support experiential learning.
