Description
Helmholtz Enterprise is an internal funding program of the Helmholtz Association designed to foster entrepreneurship and support the creation of spin-off companies from research conducted at Helmholtz Centers. The program consists of two independent modules, each with its own focus and funding structure:
- Field Study Fellowship (FSF): Enables researchers to test customer and user needs through interviews and market research, providing essential experience in customer discovery and market validation.
- Spin-off Program: Supports the formation and development of start-up teams, including external expertise, entrepreneurial training, and the financial means to prepare and launch a new venture.
Both modules aim to empower scientists to translate their research into impactful business ventures, strengthen innovation culture, and develop entrepreneurial skills within the Helmholtz community.
