The Helmholtz Enterprise Spin-off Program helps research teams at Helmholtz Centers turn their scientific discoveries into innovative start-ups through funding, team development, and entrepreneurship training.

Description
The Spin-off Program within the Helmholtz Enterprise initiative is designed to support the creation and advancement of start-up teams at Helmholtz Centers. It provides funding for the establishment of entrepreneurial teams, the implementation of spin-off projects, recruitment of external team members if needed, and the development of entrepreneurial skills through mandatory accelerator training. The program aims to translate Helmholtz research into impactful start-ups, strengthening the transfer culture and fostering innovation among Helmholtz scientists.
