Description
The Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) provides sponsorship to help organise events focused on the prevention and control of healthcare-acquired infections. Events are intended specifically for healthcare professionals and should take place in an academic or healthcare setting, or virtually online. Supported formats include single lectures, small one-day institutional events, cross-institutional events and regional events.
The programme gives priority to events that would not go ahead without HIS support. Alongside financial assistance, the Society promotes sponsored events to its members and lists them on its website. Organisers acknowledge the Society’s support through event branding and promotional materials, and provide a post-event report for publication on the HIS website.
