Description
The Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Sponsorship Program provides funding for events—including conferences, festivals, and forums—that promote awareness, engagement, and stewardship related to the restoration and protection of the Chesapeake Bay and Maryland’s watersheds. The program also supports events that help promote key revenue sources for the Trust, such as the “Treasure the Chesapeake” license plate, tax check-off donations, and the Maryland Outdoor Recreation and Clean Water Fund. The program encourages participation from diverse and underrepresented communities and aims to foster broad community engagement, public education, and conservation action.
